Tuesday Nights in Monterey (if your not at the Street Fair)

Tuesday night is "Kids Eat Free" at Bear Diner in Monterey. The kids love the place because there are bears everywhere, they have lots of food choices and they get a bowl of ice-cream with toppings. KC and I love it 'cuz they are FREE. It's a great place to eat and we seem to see someone we know every time we go.

Seth & Cali's Birthday Party in Santee 2011

We celebrated Seth and Cali's birthdays in San Diego with friends and family. KC flew back into San Diego to celebrate with us. It was nice to have him back with us.

Seth went with a science theme and Cali went with a tea party theme. The cakes were started days before the party. Grandma Sweetheart (Presho) made them and Grammie A decorated them with the kids help. They turned out super cute!

At the party we had pizza and other food, face painting by Abby Wegelin and Kaitlin Gibson and a science show by Papa Anderson. Both activities were a big hit.

The kids got lots of great presents and lots of time with friends.

The next day we headed back to Monterey where we would be moving into the new house.

The Chase cousins came to visit

The Chase's came for a couple of days to visit us too. We had lots of fun doing whatever!! We went to the park, hung-out and one day we had a water fight with Papa. The kids were relentless.....but Papa loves it. It was a good time!

Sumer Fun with Friends 2011

This summer we were able to spend lots of time with friends while KC was back home in Monterey working. We went to the Wild Animal Park with the Schallocks. Darrin won tickets (he wins things all the time) and Devin invited us to use the extras. We had great weather and a fun day.

Preston stayed with us for a couple of days (to fill Seth's need to see him). We went to the park one day and had a great time.

We spent time with the McKameys playing at their house and then we ate at McDonald's. From the pictures...I'm not sure if the kids had more fun at the house or at McD's. It's always good to see them.

Summertime Fun 2011

Let summer time begin..... The kids were done with school. We knew we were moving into the PG Coast Guard Lighthouse house. KC had some time off this summer....things couldn't be better.

Starting at the bottom of the photos:

We met Grammie and Papa A at the awesome Santa Barbara zoo. It was a much bigger place then we expected and lots of cool things to see. Then, after we had lunch and a play day at the park with the Chase's in Santa Barbara. It was the first time they met Wyatt. The cousins love to get together and play.

Then at the end of June we took a road trip down to SD, over to the Meekers for some more cousin time and then out to New Mexico for Kursty and Colton's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony in Phoenix and a wonderful reception in Deming. We all had lots of fun!

We headed back to SD where we celebrated 4th of July with the Grovers, Abby, Holly, the Suzy/Danny Nelson's and the Valdespinos. We had a BBQ and watched fireworks from the high school in Santee. A great day and night!!

Then, KC flew home to go back to work. He was back in Monterey for a couple of weeks but will return for the kids birthday party.

*Fun time at the SD Fair with the Valespino's. The kids love the animals and rides. We always have fun!
