Tonight the girls and I went to Mormon Night at the Padres. We took the trolley from Old Town. It was fun to watch them so excited about everything.
**KC is deployed. Wyatt and Seth stayed with Gramie and Papa A. **
Most of the game the girls were interested in snacks, the birds flying around near the field or the fly balls. However, one time Hanna noticed the number of fly balls that would go to the outer field and be caught. She had picked up on everyone cheering and hoping the ball would get caught for an out. So she tells me (because she played t-ball this year), "I'm a good catcher (meaning "I catch the ball well") and I could catch for them (Padres). They just need to ask". The best part of it was how sincere she was. It was such a sweet moment.

Lighthouse Visit

May 2013

Seth's 5th grade class got to visit the lighthouse...yes our neighbor. However, we had moved out by April since KC was transferring to Alameda. We chose to stay in PG and he commuted. So, Seth's class was hoping to campout on the big lawn but we didn't live there anymore to do that.

Either way we learned lots about the cool lighthouse history. It was fun for Seth to have an "in" with the docent and to know most of the answers.

Dr Bayless

Cali loves to go to the dentist. Today she had to go in for a filling. She wanted to make a shirt that said "I Love the Dentist". I was a little reluctant because I thought the kids at school would tease her but she insisted. So I let her do it and Dr Bayless loved it.
I love Cali's confidence and love of life.

Seth - Pioneer Days 2013

Cali - Track star

Cali joined the PG Track Team in April and she is really good at it. She is fast and fearless.

Daddy / Daughter Dance

The girls went to the community dance with KC. The decorations were cute with lots of pink and a candy bar. Seth and I did the photo booth.

The girls danced with dad, each other and their friends. It was a great night.

Cali - End of 3rd Grade

This was Cali's "End of School Year" party. I brought Hanna and Wyatt and donated some awesome sugar cookies that Monica Jones made for me as a favor. The kids had a great time eating snacks and making crafts.

Seth's final Pinewood Derby

Alex gets baptized!! Jan 2014

We have had a new girl come to YW's that Abby befriended at school. Her name is Alex and she is sweet, thoughtful and enthusiastic about church. She is great.
She has been staying with the Stewarts and she is a wonderful addition to our girls.
She started taking the discussions in December and by the end of the month she had set a date. We were so happy for her.

Her baptism was so sweet. Abby Stewart sang a beautiful song and the talks were perfect. So glad she came into our lives.

Her family came too. Alex is in front with Abby and her mom and sisters are next to her. Her grandma and dad were there too.

Mothers Day 2013

Today I got to celebrate Mothers Day in Wyatt's class. We had a nice light lunch and got a cute plant. Wyatt was so proud of all that he had done.

Lighthouse Field Trip

Seth's class took a field trip the Pt Pinos Lighthouse. Sadly, we had already moved out of the CG housing so we didn't have the house to use after for a picnic. It was still fun to see the lighthouse and Nancy (the lighthouse docent we got to know). Seth's class learned the history of the lighthouse and of course Seth knew it all.

Discovery Day

KC was in Petaluma for some training so the kids and I went and visited him for a couple of days. One of the days we went into San Francisco and did the Discovery Museum. It's a lot of hands on activities.
