What a fun day! We got to sail with the crew on the Edisto for the day. All families of crew members were invited too. We cruised around the San Diego Harbor, anchored for a bit to do some awards and BBQ then back into port. We brought Preston Burke (Seth's best school buddy) with us and left Hanna with Abby for the day (KC was scared to have her aboard).
Cali loves to dance and always had. The latest class she took was an after school class across from Fletcher Hills that taught ballet. She has been going through this phase for the last year that she complains about whatever class she takes but then loves it when she gets there. So, this class was pretty much the same but you can see that she is having a great time. I even allowed her to hang-out after school a few times at the Rec Center where the class was, with her 5th grade buddy Carissa Meeker who then would take her to dance. Cali really liked that and Carissa got some babysitting experience. We will see what Monterey has to offer for dance.
Today the kids and I went to the Mission Trails Nature Center Expo (KC was deployed). The kids got to make bracelets, color animal photos, listen to cool interesting facts about the local wildlife and much more. In the first picture we made bird beaks....too fun. Then, Seth is in a photo making fun animal creations. Somehow Hanna escaped all the photos but she was there. We had a fun day and learned a lot of new facts.
KC and I were hired to shoot a wedding in Utah. We were happy to do it so that we could see the Williams. We flew in on a Thurs night (just KC, me and Hanna while Seth and Cali stayed at the Anderson's) and stayed with the Williams. Friday we spent the day checking out the areas where we would be taking photos and then that night we took photos at the pre-wedding dinner. We had a nice time and got to meet lots of good people. One of which was Elder Christofferson from the Quorum of the 12. It was pretty cool. Then, all day Saturday we took photos at the temple and then the reception. Beckie and Rob watched Hanna. They also live in Provo and that made it convienent to visit with them and have them help us with Hanna. Sunday, we went to church with the Williams and Dave blessed their new baby Brox with KC in the circle. It was a wonderful weekend and good to see the Williams.
She sure is my little dress-up queen. She has always loved to play dress-up and I think she always will. Here are a few of her creations. She is also looking to recruit Hanna. So far she seems to enjoy following in her sisters footsteps. 
We found out at the end of last year that we would be transferred to Monterey this summer during transfer season. It was exciting and sad all at the same time. KC and I have always loved Monterey and have said we could live there if we were transferred. However, we love San Diego ( a little more). It has been a bitter sweet time. I have cried alot and I have tried to spend as much time as possible with friends. So, here are a few photos of those fun times.
Cali had a fun project at school. She had to make a Flat Stanley and take him with us wherever we went for a week. As you can see he went on the CG Edisto where KC is stationed. He also went with us to Knott's Berry Farm with the Voss's. He had lots of fun until Cali got sick with a really bad ear infection. You can see her laying in the bed at Knott's Berry Farm in the Medical Center. Still a fun project and fun for Cali to do.
