We found out at the end of last year that we would be transferred to Monterey this summer during transfer season. It was exciting and sad all at the same time. KC and I have always loved Monterey and have said we could live there if we were transferred. However, we love San Diego ( a little more). It has been a bitter sweet time. I have cried alot and I have tried to spend as much time as possible with friends. So, here are a few photos of those fun times.The first photo is of Michelle (Nelson) Jesperson, me, Suzy Nelson, Amanda McKamey and Danny Nelson with Peter. We are at the West Hills park with our kids. I LOVE these people!
The next photo is of the guys from the Edisto that KC worked with and some of their families. We all went on a family harbor cruise on the Edisto and spent some time together BBQing.
The 3rd photo is of Hanna and Kellen McKamey (one of her boyfriends) enjoying some yummy Easter cupcakes that Amanda made. Kellen was one of Hanna's little buddies.
The last 2 photos are the Knoop kids with the Jenkins kids (minus Noah who was too young to go out with us to McDonald's). We had a fun day at McD's and then took some goofy photos. We sure love this family!!
It will be hard to leave San Diego but we will keep our ties close to those we love!
