It was the first day of school for Seth and Cali...and it also happened to be Cali's birthday. She wore a birthday crown that her teacher from last year gave her and she felt very special to start today. Her new teacher, Mrs Johnson, also had birthday stuff for her. Mrs Johnson was aware of her birthday and had her desk decorated and Cali got to pick a book from the treasure box. It made me feel so good to know that Cali was going to be in good hands. Seth's teacher, Mrs Levy, could not have been more perfect for him. She is very enthusiastic about learning and was excited to get to know Seth. She wanted to make sure he felt included from day one and helped him to make friends.
I really felt good about this new school.
