Coast Guard Station Monterey
This is our house in Pacific Grove. It is amazing...to say the least. The location is breathtaking (corner view of the ocean while living in the middle of the Pt Pinos Golf Course).
The yard is huge and wraps all around the house. The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room with a big window, a wash room and some storage space. It's small but oh so cute!
I will surely miss this house.
Lulu's Chocolates
I got to go a chocolate factory, Lulu's Chocolates, while I lived in the Monterey 2nd Ward. The owner was from the 1st Ward and let us take a tour for free which included samples. Yumm!!!

while KC tried to scare everyone.
It sure is fun living by a lighthouse and cemetery during Halloween.
Carmel Mission Day
I got a sitter for Wyatt and Hanna this day so that I could go on the field trip with Seth.

where we focus on his life and that he is alive.

Hawaii Christmas....attempt at it anyway Dec 4, 2011
Here is Cali and Wyatt in the car as we were leaving for the airport at 4:30am.
Way too happy for this early in the morning.
Sitting at Travis Airport waiting to find out if we made the MAC (military free) flight.
We did not make this flight or the one after but we headed for San Diego to try the flights out of Coronado airport. We were determined to make it to Hawaii where the Meekers, Lolo and Grandparents Knoop were waiting for us.
It was going to be the best Christmas / Birthday present.
As you can see, we are all very disappointed. The flights for today were all cancelled so we did not get to go to Hawaii. However, knowing that we might not make any of the flights we had a back-up plan. We stayed in San Diego
and did a lot of other fun things...as you will see below.
But to the kids it just wasn't the same.
