Knoop Troop: Lula's Chocolate Factory Tour

The girls and I went with the activity day girls to Lula's. It is a local chocolate factory owned by a member of the Monterey 1st Ward. I have been on the tour twice with Relief Society but this was a unique experience for the young girls. We learned about how they make the chocolates and carmels. It is the original recipe from Scott Lund's grandma. Then we got a couple of samples. Yum!!! We bought a few things and now the girls are hooked on fine chocolate.

About us.....

We are the Knoop Family or better known as the Knoop Troop. We are made up of KC, dad, Carolynn, mom, Seth, Cali, Hanna and Wyatt. KC serves in the US Coast Guard and has for the last 14 years. He brings lots of laughter to our family and showers us with love. Carolynn stays at home with the little stinkers and loves every minute of it...even if she says otherwise. Seth is our oldest child and a joy to raise. He is very smart, funny, loves to do magic tricks and build things. One day he says he will be a scientist. Cali is our second child and the first girl. She has a very big personality and uses it every minute of everyday....she is very active and fun. She loves to dress-up, paint, sing, dance and help mommy. One day she says she will grow-up to be a mermaid. :) Then, there is Hanna. She is child #3 and holding her own. She is funny, loving, helpful, full of energy and talkative. She has learned to do things that will get her attention....good or bad. She is a red-headed fireball. Then, there is Wyatt. He joined our family at age 21 months. So far, he has had his 2 yr birthday, dressed up for Halloween, celebrated Christmas and so much more. He is a happy little boy who loves to eat, play with cars and trains and learning to talk. We hope our memories bring you as much laughter as they have for us.
